The underwater riches of the Üç Adalar area off the coast of Antalya's Kemer district were visualized. The region, where the nearest transportation is provided from Tekirova coast, is among the important diving tourism spots of Antalya with its ecological and biodiversity. The Three Islands, which attract attention with its bays where green and blue embrace, are on the excursion routes of tour boats in the summer months. Underwater documentary filmmaker and cinematographer Tahsin Ceylan dived in the Three Islands with instructors Özcan Meydan, Suat Karaman and project assistant Sadi Bulut with the support of North Star Diving Center. The team dived in the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea and recorded the underwater biological and ecological richness of the Three Islands, where archaeological remains are located. During the dive, marine creatures such as octopus, sea goblet, hani, scallop, grouper, grouper, stingray, triangle, eel and ray fish, as well as caravida (crab) and tubeworms were photographed in close-up. “We created important records of fauna and flora during the dive” Tahsin Ceylan told AA correspondent that the Three Islands are very important in terms of diving tourism. Stating that the concentration of nutrient elements with the effect of current systems enriches the underwater species diversity, Ceylan said: “Although it is a long distance for diving boats departing from Antalya, the favorite diving spots of boats departing from Kemer are here. We have created important records of fauna and flora during our dives. Archaeological artifacts are also among the important cultural assets of the region. Considering its ecology, it is extremely important for the region to be given the status of a national park in terms of its protection.
